Aus Won 3 Wkt – Australia vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup 2016 Match Highlights & Result Winner: Match 22 of the ICC World Cup 2016 is to be played two teams which are on the verge of getting knocked out of the tournament. Yes, the match is between the Australians and the Bangladeshi’s who both loss their Super-10 opening match.

Toss – Australia won the toss, and opted to bowl first.
1st Innings – After opting to bowl, Australian were looking for quick wicket on this good batting surface. They succeed to get Soumya Sarkar in the 2nd over of the match. Bangladesh earlier found it difficult to play, as the end of batting power play, they were 33/2.
The third wicket of Mithun, and Bangladesh were in big trouble with just 64/3 in 10 overs. Shakib al Hasan and Mahmudullah managed to score some quick runs and helped Bangladesh get a good competitive score of 156/5 in 20 overs.
2nd Innings – With 157 on target, it was expected to see Khawaja’s quick fire runs. Australia made an amazing start with around 9 an over, and by the end of batting power play they were 51/0.
It was expected to Australian to chase down the target quite comfortably. After losing Watson at 62 in 7.2 overs, Smith and Khawaja carried the responsibility. But, soon Australia lost their 3 wickets for just 24 runs, Australia were in pressure.
The pressure was released by Maxwell’s sixes and Australia won the match, but not the way they would’ve expected.
Australia at 157/7 in 18.3 overs won the match by 3 wickets.
