1st Innings Highlights – Having to bat first, RPS lost their early wicket of Rahane. But, this didn’t let RPS lose their track. Steve and Tiwary continued scoring, and helped RPS score 54/1 in batting power play.
Both these batsmen continued scoring as by the 9th over, RPS were 90/1 and were scoring 10 an over. But, it was the masterclass of Mumbai bowlers who made an amazing comeback. In the remaining 10 overs, RPS only scored another 65 runs losing 4 wickets, 159/5 in 20 overs.
2nd Innings Highlights – Chasing 160, MI started scoring 10 an over. Even though, MI lost early wicket of Parthiv Patel, they continued scoring as end of batting power play scored 47/1.
Rohit Sharma look at his very best and continued scoring fifty even after losing Rayadu. Rohit was well supported by Jos Buttler end. Rohit stayed not out at 85 and help MI win over RPS. MI scored 161/2 in 18.3 overs.
