MI Won By 6 Wkts – IPL 2016 Kolkata vs Mumbai Match Highlights & KKR vs MI Full Scorecard – Winner Result
After every team played their first match, the competition moves forward to Eden Garden where the 2nd match for both these team will be played. Kolkata will be hosting another home match, this time against the Mumbai Indians.
KKR has the momentum winning against the DD. While, MI will be looking for turnover after losing terribly against the debutant RPS.
Kolkata Knight Riders – The team doesn’t seem to have any change. After having spinner doing their part against DD, the eyes be on the KKR batting line-up to perform. Seeing the last match, opening order certainly did well but they didn’t have to play under any pressure. This match will test their confidence.
Mumbai Indians – They always seem to have a slow start in IPL. The things won’t work out every time as they did in previous 2 years. The batsmen will have to play a good innings, right from Rohit Sharma leading them through his fav Eden Garden.

Toss – MI opted to bowl first
1st Inning Highlights – Having to bat first, KKR made a slow start scoring 6 an over in first 4 overs in Eden Garden. This time, KKR made a decent start in the match. Both the opener batsman have given a decent score to KKR.
In the powerplay, KKR were around 10 runs per over. But after lost the wicket of Robin Uthappa the run rate started to fall down. It was looking like KKR is going to make 200 and above runs but wicket collapses quickly as they accomplish to 171 in 20 over.
Mumbai has made a mistake as McClenaghan has dropped the catch of Gautham Gambhir in early overs. This drop catch was costly. But afterwards, they have to cope up the inning and restrict KKR below 180.
2nd Inning Highlights – Chasing a good total of 174 in 20 overs. But not a good total in the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians made a perfect start scoring 10 and over. The opening order, Rohit Sharma, and Parthiv Patel have not lasted for a long time. Parthiv Patel got out early in the over of Umesh Yadav.
The middle order was handled by Ambati Rayudu and Rohit Sharma both played a terrific cricket to let MI walk according to plan. This partnership contributed more than 50 runs and helping MI. After the wicket of Ambati Rayudu, there was early fall of a wicket.
MI was again finding themselves into trouble but Pollards 51 of 17 balls lets MI win at home.
